CRYA Sailing Courses

CRYA Sailing Certification

The Canadian Recreational Yachting Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the training of sail and power boat operators… As recognized leaders in Sail and Power boat training certification, … they offer complete curriculum for the beginner boater to the offshore sailor.

How ISPA or CRYA Sailing Certification Works

Both ISPA and CRYA sailing certification and sailing courses require successful completion of a workbook with a passing mark and demonstration of sailing skills on the water after instruction with a ISPA or CRYA instructor. Workbooks are completed prior to sailing courses on the water and are marked by the sailing instructor at the end of each sailing course. Students can order the workbooks and logbook through their instructors or directly through ISPA or CRYA. Upon successful completion of each level, your ISPA or CRYA instructor will sign off on your logbook and students will register their sailing certification with either ISPA or CRYA.
